What is zen of Python is a collection of 19 software principle that influence the design of python programming language,written and published on the python mailing list in june 1999 by Tim Peters

It can be displayed by entering import anything

Principle are listed as follows

  • Beautiful is better than Ugly
  • Explicit better than implicit
  • Simple is better than complex
  • Complex is better than Compilation
  • Flat is better than nested
  • Sparse is better than dense
  • Readability counts
  • Special case aren’t special enough to break the rules
  • Although practically beats purity
  • Errors should never pass silently
  • Unless explicitly silenced
  • In the face of ambiguity,refuse the temptation to guess
  • There should be one — and preferable only one __obvious way to do it
  • Although that way may not be obvious at first unless you are a dutch
  • Now is better than Never
  • Although never is often better than *right* now
  • If the implementation is easy to explain,it may be a good idea
  • If the implementation is hard to explain,its a bad idea
  • Namespace are one honing great idea — lets do more of those
